Hello all,
This lady asked about web access info and I sent her the notice about "Bobby"
and this was her response. She poses some interesting questions which I do not
feel really qualified to answer. Anyone out there with the answer might send
them direct to her. Thank you.

thanks, Pete.
I'm the person who asked the question.
I looked at a few pages w Bobby.
this raises a lot of questions. :-)
I give you these questions -- to share with you my thinking. I realize it
would take some time for you to answer. So, you may not wish to. In any
event, I wanted to share with you the thought process. I hope that is
useful to you. :-)
Questions that came up, from viewing Bobby on sites:
e.g.,
so, what does a blue hat mean?
what does a blue hat with symbol mean?
what does the number of hats of various kinds mean? e.g. one of each hat
at one place, 4 of one hat someplace else, a collection of assorted hats a
third place, etc.
how many hats is too many? (one) :-)
is there a list of what kinds of disabiities Bobby is trying to "service"
? and what not?
or, is it entirely based on sight-impairments?
does bobby evaluate the various html authoring software products?
so, for example, when a "long person" wants to develop a www page for a
cause, is there a way to use Bobby to help identify which web-authoring
tools will facilitate being "Bobby-ready" ?
on the non-technical side: what other "Bobbies" are there? i.e. are there
5 other "competing" products ? pehaps evaluating according to differnt
criteria? What are the politics -- what is the context -- of the
Bobby method ? Is the Boby approach alligned with one particular advocacy
sector, but not others?
thank you for your time thinking about this.
In connection,
Judith Winter
