Frederick,
Do you get fresh chicken from Shelton? I can only find frozen near me.
And where do you find organic meat? I have always loved dried turkey
and dried beef, but since I don't eat the commercial stuff, and haven't
started drying my own, I haven't had much recently.

So I'm going to start - I thought I'd get a dehydrator to make dried
turkey but it sounds like you just leave it in fridge and its fine - is
that right? Any details anyone can give me for sourcing fresh organic
turkey/meat and whether a dehydrator is really necessary would be
appreciated. I have plenty of fridge space to do that, I just never have
tried.
thanks,
roberta
