I volunteered to have a bunch of people over for Thanksgiving (a party
of about 10-12 people). Needless to say, the possibility of *any* of
these folk eating raw is nil. Although I've seen some good holiday
recipes in some of the sites, do any of y'all have any favorites or
suggestions on what a raw-food person is supposed to do? I love to
cook, so that's not a problem ... it's just that because of health
issues I began eating a raw diet and have changed a lot of my food
preparation habits. My husband does not care for an all raw food diet
(too much cold stuff! he says).

Next:
What type of dehydrators are you using? I saw an informercial on the
Ronco dehydrator (I know, I know) which is considerably cheaper than the
Excaliber I'm considering, but are there other brands out there that are
good (and not TOO expensive)? Any suggestions will help.

Next:
The weather has turned cold and so have I. I was told that living on
this type of diet would make me more susceptible to cold weather. What
is everyone else doing? I don't like the idea of wrapping myself up in
sweaters allthe time while relaxing in my own home.

And last:
Does anybody know where to get raw buttermilk in the So. Nevada (best),
So. Cal or So Utah area? Thanx.

Whew.

Irene
