dont you hate it when someone dices up your work and does a great job of it. I
couldn't even find anything I could really disagree with. Good work Lisa.
You are right, was just joining the conversation after a long absence. It is
important to be true to yourself first, and I totally agree that worshiping
anyone is a mistake. Whether Ehret, Walker, Kellogg or Bonzo said it, it
should be true to you.
And you are right about the Medical and other healing professions we do try
to help and put our whole hearts into it quite often
And for sure you are right about the long lived societies, not having MDs is
probably not one of thier great secrets, but then again--- there are not a lot
of adverse drug reactions or unnecessary surgeries if you have no doctors. Of
course I am sure there are deaths there from really simple to repair
accidents, diabetes etc., which any MD could easily fix.
I live in the middle of an urban area and have not seen an MD, except
socially, for a very long time, and I do think that avoiding fixing things
that aint broke is important.
A key that is usually workable, is that any evolutionary change is usually
bad. Most of the changlings die from the jump. Only occassionally does a jump
in evolution result in a positive change, however those changes are earth
changing. I dont use drugs and avoid medical care because it suits me, but
more importantly if great grand ma didn't do it and lived to be 100, she is
perhaps worth following. I don't know the decade long effects of many common
treatments, addatives, supplements etc. I am sure some are profoundly good,
others are bad. On a personal level I try to be healthful by leaping back to
the simple life.
I eat well, try unsucessfully to avoid stress, but alas do not have a mate, to
share the journey with. but I see going back to what works for sure like a
good living vegan diet as a good way to go in health
anyway, I am rambing
enjoyed your comments
