I recently upgraded from a 33.6K modem to a 56K modem. The installation
went well except I could no longer connect at speeds above 28.8K. Using
the 33.6K modem I consistently connected at speeds between 28.8 and
33.6K.
I called my ISP and they gave me some AT Commands (&F&C1&D2) to add to
my command string. The connection seems faster but I can no longer
monitor the connect speed. Double clicking the taskbar modem icon
produces a connect speed of 115,200 this is not correct. I believe that
is the port speed and not the connect speed.
Is there a setting I can change that will show the actual connect speed?
Thank you in advance for the help.
