Robert McFerran has recently posted a new chapter from his up-coming book on
arthritis; it presents a view of human history and its relationship to
dietary needs. The chapter may be found at
http://bcn.net/~stoll/wwwboard/messages/4040.html . Whether or not you
agree with his perspective, it certainly makes for interesting reading.
Several months ago, Robert helped to convince me that, because I was
hypoglycemic, I could not possibly be a successful vegetarian (my motivation
was further augmented by the fact that I felt weak and miserable).

Cheers,
