A few years ago I went into a used bookstore meaning to ask for the _Horse's
Mouth_ and instead asked for the _Horse's Ass_, then to the confused
bookseller had to confess of course not -- I had not finished writing it...
that 20 year opus that never gets further than the telepathic chickens.
