Hi Paul,

Thanks for the description of your detox vacation.

Ijust want to mention that most often reactions to foods do not come
immediately after eating them. In fact, some allergic reactions that
I've seen in people come as late as three days later. So it's kind of
hard to know which foods are doing what in your body. It's also hard to
know if its the specific food itself, or some aspect of the food and how
it reacts with the biochemical balance in your 'system' at the time -
like say, the sugar in a really sweet fruit (doesn't matter which
fruit).

I'm just mentioning this because its sometimes tempting to jump to
premature or overly simplistic or just simply incorrect conclusions
about particular foods, when in reality the problem is much more
complex.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm not sure which, the biology of complex
organisms (such as ourselves) is for the most part infinitely complex,
where the tiniest and most apparently insignificant of factors can
affect a vast array of intertwined events to an extent that we can only
begin to conceive of.

Just thought I'd add that thought into your efforts to decipher your
body's signals.
