Hello Sandy,

Yes, we both also eat this way.

The benefits are enormous and I experience them in every aspect of my life.
Just a few include: greater mental clarity and optimism, less anxiety or
irritation, more patience and serenity, remarkable increased physical health
and vitality, incredible cardiovascular endurance and flexibility without
working out, SOFT skin, sweet breath, pleasant body fragrance, confidence
and trust in Nature and the universe, the ability to use food as a perfect
medicine in case of any imbalance, deficiency, discomfort or accident
without any need for intellectual understanding or scientific information,
resistance to sunburn (our baby runs naked all day in summer and has never
burned--- my fair skin no longer burns), greater tolerance to cold or heat,
and much more.

I don't see any pitfalls, besides the dangers of becoming fanatical, judging
others who don't eat this way, or thinking that nutrition is the only or
"best" answer and ignoring all the other aspects (emotional, social,
spiritual etc) of healing oneself.

I would say there are obstacles, though, and they are similar to what you
might encounter with any major lifechange. They include the difficulty of
finding good food sorces, the social and cultural aspects of eating so
differently, the deep psychological addiction to cooked foods, and lack of
faith on the journey (or the inability to give up your own agenda and let
Nature take over).

Hope this is helpful. ingrid
