Hi Steven,
Actually, I've been able to recover lost partitions with Norton
Utilities' Norton Disk Doctor, copy of partition not required. It is
risky, tho, as Norton may find more than one partition possibility, or
not correctly diagnose the parameters of the missing partition. Thus,
if Martin uses Norton Disk Doctor, it is crucial he makes an "Undo"
file, so he can put things back where they were and try a different
approach if Norton doesn't fix things.
