The forbidden fruits, sugars, grains, etc..., can cause your body to use
up a lot of vitamins and minerals, to fight the bad effects of the Standard
American Diet(SAD). When on a paleo type diet, the immune system and general
health of the body, has more energy to fight off infection, instead of what
you eat. The vitamins and minerals, needed by the human body, can be found
in a paleo diet. Sometimes, I eat sardines, or something with calcium in it,
to make up for not chewing on bones. Only 1/3rd of my diet is meat, and a
small portion is fruit, nuts, and berries, which makes the majority
vegetables. Lots of vitamins and minerals there.
