Hi Cindy,

I've just got to reply to all this stuff about our beef supply, etc.

1. This is just my opinion, but I believe a lot of that stuff your read
and hear about is a) the media getting themselves a "good" story that is
filled with exaggeration and b) some one pushing their own agenda.
Certainly, there are problems, but I'm sure there have always been
problems. I was brought up in the city very poor. We ate the cheapest
meat available. Fatty cheap cuts, and things past their date. I was
hardly ever sick, and I never remember having food poisening.. Went to
the Dr. only 3 times the whole time growing up.

2. Sure there are some problems, but Protein is so good for you and so
necessary that I think by far the bigger problem is letting our minds
talk us out of eating what is good. Sometimes we should just relax, eat
our meats, veggies, and fruits, and enjoy it.

I guess I'm not explaining myself too well. In a nutshell, what I'm
saying is, eating your meat, fish, chicken, etc even with its problems,
is so much better for your health then not eating it, that the problems
seem minute.

Betty
