I wouldn't want to wager on wether or not raisins are coated with soy oil to
prevent clumpting. Dried fruit and fruit juices can be considered to be
"refined" sources of carbohydrates. Personally, I have a high CHO tolerance
(it will make me fat, but not sick). Some people are of the opinion that
fat and CHO should not be mixed during the same snack, but I like to eat
nuts only with raisins. Otherwise, they just don't taist right.
As long as I'm composing, does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives
to Nyquil? I bought a bottle before discovering that indeed the main
ingredient is High Fructose Corn Syrup Death Liquid. Amazingly, I found a
Contradiction that does help: salt. Salt is actually quite soothing for a
sore throat. Don't ask me how it can make a person less thirsty, but it
does.
