Actually, some of we "hunter-gatherer Type A's" do best on a diet that
is much more extreme than the Type O diet. The Type O diet, as
described in the book, recommends sweet potatoes, pineapple juice, figs,
and Ezekial bread as "Highly Beneficial." The guidelines also prescribe
a relatively low-fat diet. Of course, many people on the Type O diet
ignore the guidelines (often unintentionally) and eat plenty of fatty
meat.
