i just ran into the same problem, spent about 3 hours trying to install
my new 56.6 modem.i kept getting conflicts with com2. open up help and
go to troubleshooting. follow the steps as listed. basically you have to
go into device manager and tell win95 to share com2's IRQ with the
modem's. i don't remember the steps to do it, but like i said, open help
and go to trouble shooting. then click on "If you have a hardware
conflict".
that should guide you.
