Peter (regarding Aajonus):

Thanks for your input and info on Aajonus. I am trying, but it is difficult
for me to maintain a balanced view regarding Aajonus since my experience has
been very positive. However, my common sense helps me realize that no
single way of eating will work for every single person on earth. Also, as
per your friend's experience, it is obvious that there yet exists no
'cure-all' for cancer. While diet may reverse more cancers than chemo, it
seems pretty clear that diet cannot remedy _all_ ills.

I agree, it would me much easier if Aajonus published more detailed
information on his claims. However, through my discussions with him, he
does not seem overly concerned with proving his methods to the world. The
only thing he mentioned was that one of his clients was in the process of
helping fund a study (I don't know if it's open or double-blind) regarding
his healing methods.  Until such studies are made public, I agree with you;
claims should be taken with a grain of salt (not literally :-) ).

Fortunately, I have had positive experiences in the 7-8 months I have been
using his RAF regime. I went from mostly bedridden to working part-time,
and for the first time in two years I am confident I will eventually return
to 100% health. And I share your sentiments, Peter: even though Aajonus
might not be the know-all, end-all, of nutrition, his work sure helped push
me in the right direction. And I have not heard of much experience in the
weight department, but I can offer my experience. I did gain a bit of
weight in the beginning, but now I actually am quite trim. In fact, it is
my goal to get back to the weight I was when I was an 18-yr old soccer
player (195 lbs.) Right now I weigh in at a measly 175 lbs. for my height
of 6'3" (mostly due to poorly functioning adrenals, I think. I say that
because I experience many of the common symptoms of adrenal problems).

Anyway, thanks again Peter for your thoughts/updates. I will also update
you as things progress.

Best Regards,
Ben
