 Yes two comm ports can be active and happy at the same time. The kicker is
that 1 and 3 share the same IRQ and 2 and 4 share an IRQ.
Solution...put the devices you won't use together on 1 and 3.
So if he won't use the ham device with the modem move modem to comm 4. that
way he/she could use mouse and modem.  follow?
