Zoom and USR both make modems that will work well in a 486, or even a 386. The
Zoom is a model 2919 and the USR is a Sportster Fax Modem. Both were available
this week at Best Buys and CompUSA for about $75-$100. Both are ISA as PCI
modems will not work with a 486.
