My computer is a Dell Inspiron 7000 with a 266 MHz Intel Processor. My
operating system is Windows 98 with I.E. 4.0. I would like to move the
banners that display when I turn the computer on. The first Banner displays
a Dell Headline, and the second Banner displays a Windows 98.
I have been able to disable the Dell banner by following Dell's instruction
which follows:
"You can go into the BIOS and disable the Quiet Boot
feature, and this should disable the Dell banner right
upon bootup."
This did eliminate the Dell Banner, But I still get a banner from Windows
98. From another source, I learned that I could press the "escape key"
during bootup to eliminate the windows' banner.
My main goal is to see the system information during the boot process. Is
there a method that I can use to eliminate the Windows' banner without
having to hold the "escape key?"
Thanks for any advice.

However, a banner
will still pop up as part of the standard Windows bootup, so you'll
have to press escape when it does to review your complete Windows
Bootup procedure.
