The easiest way to find out is to find a high density disk,
put it in the drive, and see if the drive can read it.  Make
sure the disk is formatted and has data on it (get one from
a friend if you don't have any).  If the drive is high
density, there will be no problem.  If the drive is double
density, the computer will return an error message.  This
will not harm the disk.
