Hello All!

I have been off the list for a while and somewhat out of touch with the
latest news in the processor wars.

Would some of you please help me out by explaining just what the Intel
Celeron Processor is all about?

How does it compare with the standard  Pentium and the Pentium II ?

I am trying to help some friends of mine make their first computer
purchase and this information would be most helpful.

I would appreciate as much detail as possible.
