Actually, there is a backdoor password for most of the systems, as I
learned from a computer battery company some time back.  It was an
older motherboard with a bad battery, no auto hard drive detect, and
someone had entered a password.  I was worried that I couldn't reset
the parameters, once the battery was out. While the guy was on the
phone, I kept trying his suggestions, and opened it in one minute.

I would also like to know if there is a way to beat this--I assume the
'administrator' password doesn't stop much.
