By "on" I mean the cap (or jumper) is placed on the
pins, thereby CLOSING the circuit. The jumper is
the small, plastic-covered metal clip that is used to
connect the two pins (in this case) marked DS on
the bottom of the Quantum drive.
Other terms for ON: shorted, closed, jumpered,
shunted, enabled, a binary value of "1". The circuit
would be completed.
Other terms for OFF: open, exposed, unjumpered,
a binary value of "0", unconnected. The circuit would
be open.
