Good advice, but judging from you the previous posting I would assume that
this drive isn't working yet.  I checked the Epson Web Page and the only
reference I found was to an SMD-200, a battery powered 3.5" floppy disk
drive first manufactured in 1983.  There may be a good chance that this is
a really old drive.
