That will be a hard order to fill. Most of the current quality 3D cards run
$150-$200 . You might look at some of the stuff based on the S3 chip or maybe
a if he can find someone that still has any of the Voodoo1 cards around.
Another option is to wait a few months (some new chips are on there way) and
the prices should fall on some of the current cards. I know you probably
don't want to hear this, but most of the games for sale now are written for
the newer cards and he will be disappointed with some of the cheaper cards. I
went that route and ended up getting a Voodoo2 card in the long run. The
quality of the video and colors was worth the $169. Good luck
