I have installed a monochrome card, hoping to be able to access the
monochrome in Linux as a second monitor.  First things first, the card isn't
detected.

Should it be detected?  Is there something I ought to do?   It is possible,
perhaps, this board is broken.  Thanks for all the help in the past.
