I have the K6-2/300 on an FIC board and it runs business apps just fine.  I
don't play games so I can't speak for how Quake will run, BUT... at the
trade show where I bought my parts, the dealer had a P-II system sitting
next to an AMD and both were running the same graphics demo and (to my eyes)
the K6-2 was smoother.

I'm very pleased with the performance of my K6 -- and the money I saved!
