A friend just bought a 56k Flex modem. When he connects to his Internet
provider he gets messages like "connected at 65,000 bps". I don't think
this is possible. Is he probably connecting at 28 or 33.3 or the closer
speed to 54. I'm wondering if maybe he's showing a port speed instead.

Any ideas, what do you think?
Any solutions?

TIA

Bob Elmers
