I am installing a new larger hard drive which will be set-up as a completely
new system with three partitions.
My present HDrive will be slaved to the new one.
The old drive is set up with a primary partition and two extended
partitions.
I wish to change this primary to an extended one.
How can this be done without losing the data on it which will gradually be
moved to the new drive as needed?.
Would FDISK destroy it all, or can the partition be changed this way and
keep it all intact?.
Looking forward to any help on this.

Alan P.
