A strange thing occurred this morning.  I normally leave my system on all
the time.  Last night I decided to be different and shut down the system for
the night.  I did this after rebooting the system which booted normally then
performed the shutdown.  When I turned the system on, the system found new
hardware and proceeded to reinstall my monitor.  Everything went well but
why would the monitor just disappear like that?
