        You do not need LBA for a CD-ROM. Almost all of the software driver
interface is controlled with add on software, the BIOS does very little with
regards to a CD-ROM even in the newest of systems. About the most is some
BIOSs allow you to boot from a CD-ROM, but this too is at the whim of your
MB maker.

        Yes, the SB interface is what I recommend you use, set it for secondary IDE
and it should
