Greetings...

Win initialization error while opening PERF:

    this message comes up 2-out-of-3 times I boot up my K5 166mhz w/ 32mb of
EDO RAM and it shows on the Dos screen just before Win95 is about to show my
desk top.

I formatted, virus scanned and re-installed all my software and after a few
test reboots, it came back.   Windows will start up in Safe Mode just fine
if I do a CTRL ALT DEL.   What gives?
