This is going to sound strange but it seems to work.  From an herbal
remedy book, I discovered that to "paint" the areas of cap with cooled
down black tea (you make a cup, let it steep, let it cool), helps the
area to go away.  I have no idea why  You do it several times a day.
Worked somewhat for us.
