Jill,
It does get easier -- when the child is old enough to control his/her own
intake. Even then, slip ups occur. Remember, people mean well even when
they are doing potentially dangerous and unwanted actions like offering
your kids allergens. Yes, frustrating. Take a deep breath and continue
being vigilant. Your friends and family will learn over time.
