Yes, they begin screaming as soon as they are ripped from the earth.  As they
begin to be juiced, however, their spirit quickly evacuates the body, travels
down a tunnel of light, and joins all it's deceased carrot relatives.  As you
can imagine, carrot heaven is quite full these days with all these juicing
vegans, but there is a constant recycling of spirit, back and forth from
physical to spiritual carrot reality.

Of course, this is the agreement made, with understanding, when the carrot
chooses to become a living being. They understand that they are granted life,
and that their life will be taken away, and that they will most likely become
food for another.  We all agree to die when we are born.  How we die is up to
LIFE.  By Living we fulfill our Purpose.
