In a message dated 98-10-19 11:09:36 EDT, you write:
<< Ellie, I'm looking forward to being set straight by you, or anyone else,
if you think I'm way off base. >>
Liza,
Perhaps he has so little time and has needs for research funds and the only
way for him to help people and make money is to charge $300 an hour for a
session, knowing that he also does workshops people can come to, knowing that
he's written a book anyone can buy that will deliver essentially the same
information. His time is his time for him to do what he wants with in his
life. If people want the words directly from his moulth, he can charge $300
if that is what he wants.
A lot of people pay $65 an hour for a massage once a week. What do they get
for that, a little touching, temporary relief from their bad habits and
stressful lives. He's providing, so he says, LIFE SAVING information, or life
changing information. If it's a one time $300 a shot deal, that's not bad at
all.
Money is like water anyway. People can always make more.
