My fillings are synthetic and look like tooth enamel. It is a good idea to
have your dentist do a reactivity test to determine which materials are
compatible with your body. I figure, no sense in going to all the trouble
of removing the toxic fillings if you don't make sure the new one's aren't
ok. it's a blood test and determines your reactions to hundreds of
materials used by dentists and I guess other medical professionals as
well.
