>How is your instincto paper coming a long?

>>Should be done by end of Oct. if I quit spending so much time online
>>:)Will be looking for a publisher the, which promises to be more work
>>than writing it...

I know nothing about publishing, but Blue Dolphin Publishing Co. out of
Nevada City, CA, which published Joe Alexdander's "Blatant Raw Foods
Propaganda" & Pan Piper Press out of Pahoa, HI, which recently
published Zephyr's "Instinctive Eating, The Lost Knowledge of Optimum
Nutrition" might be leads.

>>Primo durian in LA? Details details por favor...price, location,
>>season etc. Were they from Thailand or elsewhere?

Yes, fresh Monthong durians from Thailand. They can be bought at
Jimmy's 99 Ranch Market 988 N. Hill Street, Los Angeles 90012,
213-625-3399, May through June. Whether or not they are available
other times of the year I do not know. The price is about $10 a piece.

>>I've heard of people being blocked for it (poor souls!). I've also

>>to get on top of it you might go a couple days on water and cassia

I am in no rush to repeat the experience. I trust my instincts on this
one - a definite taste stop :-)

>>Instincto lore" --I like that phrase. Besides the taste change
>>_experience_ it is all made up, ain't it? It is truly "lore".

Not all lore is fictional. But so long as most instinctos seem to
confuse the concept of the taste stop for an invitation for gluttony, I
remain a healthy skeptic.

         >>Has there ever been any chatter about champedak? Even the
(urban) >>Thai's wouldn't eat that! It looks like a small jackfruit
>>(jackfruit's little brother) and is something of a cross between
>>durian and jackfruit.

Sorry, except for one person, I forget who, mentioning champedak
tasting better than jackfruit.

>>When I get some time I'll write up a fruit lover's guide to Thailand
>>and post it on JR's page. Don't hold your breath...

Later on you could branch off and become a raw food tour leader to the
country - where do I sign up? :-)

>>Cheers and figs,
>>Kirt

Best, Peter
