I had tried posting this before, so here goes again. I think the table was
messed up.

"Your result with attempting to overclock is not encouraging. I was
hoping to try once I was sure my set up was stable. Let you know if I
give it a try. "
Hi Jim,

Just an update to let you know on some overclocking I experimented with.
I did get a boot from the 75mhz bus. The downside is, I had to run the
clock at 3x for a CPU speed of 225mhz. I didn't run it that long to test
the stability. The next question is, is the tradeoff in CPU speed worth the
gain in the bus speed? I experimented with all the Freq settings (even the
undocumented ones); I used all the jumper combinations. I got the following
readings:

FREQ1 FREQ2 FREQ3 CPU/CLOCK

1-2 1-2 1-2 K6166/266

1-2 1-2 2-3 K6166/266

2-3 1-2 1-2 K6166/150

2-3 1-2 2-3 K6166/150

2-3 2-3 1-2 K6200/188

2-3 2-3 2-3 K6200/188

1-2 2-3 1-2 K6233/225

1-2 2-3 2-3 K6233/225

Just so that you understand, I am running an AMD K6/233. I set the bus
clock to 75mhz and played with the FREQ settings. On boot up, the CPU and
CLOCK speed was what was identified from the intial boot up screens.

See ya,
LaMont
