<< In spite of all the bleating about the murder by bombing of innocent Iraqi
civilians, there has been no bombing. Is this a disappointment?>>

Since when was voicing opposition to violence in the face of a majority of
blood hungry citizens, all media, and all government, considered "bleating" (i
assume you mean going along with the crowd). perhaps you meant the "bleating"
of the lone Black Sheep among the hordes, i will take it that way at any rate.

<< Is Saddam not a murderous tyrant>>
i must have missed the posts, not only on this list, but also on every human
rights news servers, Iraqi watch, and A-infos, which stated the point of view
that Saddam was NOT a murderous tyrant. of course, it could be that YOU are
just "bleating" what has been repeated time and again as a "rebuttal" to peace
activists who never stated otherwise (that saddam IS a murderous tyrant).

<<... with 20 million willing hostages who
permit themselves to be used this way?>>

please re-read the above stupid sentence.....upon reflection do you see an
inherent problem with the statement?? no? okay then, could you please
explain how a people who live under a "tyrant", people who are "hostages" have
a right to "permit" anything??
