We have are quiet.

I guess it was all the talk about "Addiction and Marijuana." Either
everyone is eating or they have crashed out for a while.

In any case, I would like to welcome the new subscribers and ask a few of
the veterans and new people to introduce themselves to the list. Nothing
elaborate, just an little insight into to your connection and/or work with
Noam CHOMSKY or his philosophy.

If you ever wonder about your subscription status to CHOMSKY, simply send
the command:

QUERY CHOMSKY

to the Listserv.

Example:

TO: [log in to unmask]
SUBJECT:
------------- Message Text --------------
QUERY CHOMSKY

The server will tell you if I have "kicked you off the list."

If you think the Listserv is "down," simply issue the "Thank you" command
and the Listserv will send you back a "your welcome." This will tell you
if the server is running. This will also avoid the "test" message that
many like to send.

Example:

TO: [log in to unmask]
SUBJECT:
------------- Message Text --------------
Thank you
