I know this is a day late however I hope not a dollar short for Bev and any
others looking for gluten free medications. I found some 1996 postings on
pharmaceutical advice and there may be more current ones:
Posting number 5362, dated 20 Jan 1996 has a Gluten-Free Phramaceutical Guide
(like the food card for restaurants)
Posting number 6295, dated 13 Apr 1996 has Pharamceutical Advice, by Anne
Laginess, Pharmacist summarized by Jim Lyles. In the latter, a drug info
center for consumers, based in Chicago and called Call-Our Pharmacist is
mentioned; available 24 hours. 1-800/522-5225 for info about the service.
Call 1-900/903-7847 for verbal and mailed info; have the drug name and
letters/numbers off the capsule/tablet if possible. Cost for the 900 number
is $1.99 per minute.
