It has been a long time since I posted anything on this. But I have never
known a vegan not on antibiotics who had B12 deficiency. I have had none for
decades and no problems. It is made by healthful flora in the gut. If this
flora is OK, no problem, If it is not B12 is a problem whatever the diet, but
is worse on the ovo-lacto diet because these have more antibiotics in them.
