You blew me away ! Wheat bran is probably the worst "food" you could use:
it has severe lectins and phytates.

long enough to severely deplete my health, fitness, strength and teeth.

Who says that these relate to diet success? Since I have been eating foods
that are matched to my immune system, I have been getting better and better
in all the categories listed above; its been a long haul though. And I feel
good about myself, the food does this; I'm more relaxed about stress etc.
This is success.

I eat for health.

I don't eat because someone its "good" to eat one way and "bad" to eat
another ( though I certainly did try them out). I eat what works for me.

BTW, has anyone ever considered the difference between eating to theory vs
eating to practical?
For example, the Enzyme theory? Well enzymes are practical too, but when
compared to the Lectin theory ( which is also practical) the importance of
Lectins outweighs that of Food Enzymes - out of sight !!!
Interestingly, lectins generally survive cooking though many are downgraded,
but some are made even worse by heat.

I am writing this because I am concerned for your health, I hope you are
listening ???

Have a good day
Lynton
