Bob: Started Natural Hygiene '89, into to Anopsology by Frederick Mann '93,
provided Shaeffer's book by Deborah Boyar '94, then meeting Bruno, reading
his book, then the rest of the books listed below. Fun!

>I begin to realzie more and more now that (especially an all-raw diet or
mostly raw diet) having meals at preset times during the day (like the
3-meals per day plan) is more of a way of coping with modern busy
 lifestyles than a health choice.

In any case, again, I'd love to find out how (any good books?) and why
you made the switch from natural hygiene to instinctive.

Bob:
See below.

 >Also, it's kinda obvious to me that eating a large meal before sleep as
you do is the reason you don't eat in the morning. Doyou ever find that
such a large meal overloads your body for the night?

Bob:
How do one tell? I'm asleep at the time. Sure sleep soundly (outdoors
beneath the stars on 30' hi deck on 76 degree water bed in 7 gauss negative
magnetic field -- how's THAT for weird!) . However, on a cerebral level, I
DO suspect that it would be best to NOT eat after 7 PM so there's lots of
sleep time for the body to eliminate, detox, rebuil;d, etc.

Anopsology--SOURCES OF INFO ON INSTINCTIVE NUTRITION

(My own research & practice since '93 has proven that Instinctive Nutrition
IS the nutrition part of Natural Hygiene & the chief reason for the lower
success rate of the present NH gurus is that they don't yet know it.)

These four books, the only known in English, are ALL excellent & highly
recommended:

"Instinctive Nutrition" (originally "Manger Vrai" -- The War of the Raw?),
by Guy-Claude Burger, 1985?--EXCELLENT, clarifying book, required reading for
understanding Optimum Health -- no index. $33 from Dr. Deborah Boyar, Box
426, Summerland, CA 93067-0426, FAX: (805) 565-9956,
[log in to unmask], or for $17 (shrunk to very small print from Bob
Avery, 1930 Washtenaw Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104-3655, (313) 769-2873,
[log in to unmask], or download much of it free at
"?http://www.umontreal.CA/"gaumondp/veg/raw".

"Instinctive Nutrition", by Severen Schaeffer, 1987--$13 to Celestial Arts,
Box 7327, Berkeley, CA 94707, (510) 559-1600--the first in English & probly
still the best intro! Scientific approach, no references, no index

"Maximize Immunity", by Bruno Comby, 1994--$16 to Marcus Books, Box 327,
Queensville, Ontario, Canada, LOG 1R0, (905) 478-2201, FAX: (905)
478-8338--how Instinctive Nutrition allows one to avoid AIDS & other immune
disorders--289 scientific references, no index

"Eating Instinctively on Earth, an Autobiography & Guidebook", by
Zephyr--1995, $20 to Zephyr, Box 2169, Pahoa, HI 96778, (808)
965-6069--fascinating "how to actually LIVE it"--emotional, hippie-style
"lower mind" approach, no references, no index

"Instinctive Nutrition", by Helen Young--$20 to Accord Health & Lifestyle
Management, Box 41, Flemington, 3031, Victoria, Australia--Simple intro book;
I sent $20 2/96 & have heard nothing of it nor my money as of NOW -- SO not
recommended -- but if you get one, lemme know if it's useful! -- Bo7b

"Raw Extremes", by Kirt Nieft & Melisa Secola, [log in to unmask]
