I apologize about the short notice. I have had numerous problems with
my internet connection this month - my only excuse besides being swamped
getting this seminar together....

Rare Nutritional Seminar in San Francisco

Sally Fallon, Vice-President of the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation
and author of "Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges
Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats" will give a
day-long seminar in San Francisco on Saturday, January 30th, 1999, from
10-5 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel. The workshop is entitled "Nourishing
Native Diets: A Key to Vibrant Health."

For more information or to register, call (707) 571-0463 or email
[log in to unmask] . The workshop is $55 pre-registration or $65
at the door. A short synopsis follows.

This seminar focuses on important nutrition lessons for modern people
derived from the study of indigenous and traditional cultures. Sally
Fallon will first present the unforgettable pictures and pioneering
research of Dr. Weston Price, and will then move into such topics as:

Why Butter is Better...
and other suprising facts about nourishing native diets.

The Oiling of America:
How the false cholesterol theory caused Americans to abandon traditional
whole foods. Learn to recognize fraud in health research and the hidden
agendas behind the push for low-fat foods.

How to Change Your Diet for the Better:
In this visual workshop, learn how to implement the principles of
nourishing native diets in modern kitchens, including easy breakfast
cereals, soups, snack foods, and high-enzyme condiments and beverages.

Y2K Food Preparations:
Prepare yourself for Y2K and create sustainability and optimal health in
the new millennium. (This is not paranoid stockpiling - but helping us
create community food security and to meet our neighbors...).

And much more... This will be a great chance to meet others in the Bay
Area including health care practitioners, with similar dietary
interests.

Don't miss it if you are in the area! Again, for more information or to
register, call (707) 571-0463 or email [log in to unmask] . I
look forward to seeing you there!
