They say that the discomfort your son is experiencing is a result
of "die-off", which means that the nystatin is working. That's
good, right?
The usual "natural" remedies for candida are Pau D'Arco and
Caprylic acid. Both contain lectins that bind to the candida
cells and eventually destroy them. I recently read that lentils
also contain such a lectin, although they are not strictly paleo
according to Neanderthin. I have my doubts, however, since
lentils can be eaten after being extensively soaked. Many people
also recommend aloe vera juice to heal the gut lining, as well as
glucosamine sulfate.
