I was intrigued by the suggestion to take a spoonful of Metamucil at the
onset of symptoms of accidental gluten ingestion, and plan to try it
next time. I have been on a GF diet for almost ten years now, and my
experience has been that, try as I might (and boy do I try!), inevitably
some gluten inadvertently slips by every once in a while.

So I am very curious to hear from other celiacs how they deal with the
symptoms of an 'accident'. I'm particularly interested in particular
foods that folks have found helpful (or hurtful), over-the-counter or
prescription medicines, rest, exercise, anything that has helped to ease
the discomfort or speed recovery.

I will summarize to the list.

Thanks!
Melissa in New Orleans
