I'm not a supporter of anything, just skeptical by nature. A profusion
of miracle cures has been proposed since the Middle Ages, most of
which ineffective, and sometimes dangerous. Okay, chelation therapy is
inexpensive and safe, but so far there is no scientific proof that it
can remove the arterial plaque. Belief that it is effective is based
uniquely on anecdotal evidence (which means close to nothing). Well, I
am not dismissing the possibility that it might improve the
cardiovascular state of some patients, but I just can't believe that
you can take your daily EDTA and "lightheartedly" continue to eat your
cheeseburger+French fries+coke.

P.S. The "Paleolithic diet" is a diet that imitates the diet of our
ancestors and of modern hunter-gatherers (see
http://www.panix.com/~paleodiet/).

The Ketogenic diet is a carbohydrate-restricted diet. The body then
uses fat instead of glucose for energy. Mainly used by adults who want
to lose weight (read "Dr Atkins' new diet revolution") and by
epileptic children.
