Hi David,
>These trees seem to be prevalent
in tropical climates, so you may need to seek out a source if you
are in the mainland US - there is an entry in the archives where you
may can still be able to order some, if you are interested. I have
tried cassia, and will affirm that it does seem to flush out accumulated
junk in the system quite effectively.<
Interesting you mentioned this, since I had been browsing the archives a
few weeks ago, filed a note away, and just today sent off an inquiry for a
cassia source from Hawaii! Have you heard of any problems with it causing
dependence? That really is my only concern; I don't mind temporary
discomfort from intense or painful detox if that happens as I've been
through it and trust it. I just don't know how much or long I might need to
take something to get to where much or most of this 'stuff' is eliminated.
Maybe a week of taking it then a few weeks off then a week on might be a
good approach (while continuing a clean, raw diet the whole time) ??
>it may be best *not* to worry about every detail,
as this quest can apparently lead to disorders.<
I believe this - I know a friend of my SIL who works with an 'alternative'
doctor, and has become compulsive about food, as besides removing foods
typical for a 'candida' diet - fruit and yeast-based foods - her doctor
continually diagnoses more and more allergies to various foods and
eliminates them from the diet. The approach has done nothing for either her
physical or psychological health - frustrated and lacking support from her
family and probably just nutrient-starved in general the result is she
occasionally binges, losing any modest benefit she might have had.
Thanks for posting the URL's, but I've actually already checked these out
though!
Take Care, Paul
